Product Description
Aquamat high quality capillary matting transports water quickly and evenly over flat surfaces allowing a large number of plants to be very easily watered and at the same time creating a good humid atmosphere. Used by landscapers, garden centres and domestic users in greenhouses and indoors.
Aquamat has been developed at one of Britain’s leading flower research and development centres, ensuring this product gives a reliable service to producers of bedding and pot plants.
Made from 14 finely spaced layers each acting as a reservoir resulting in constant and uniform water displacement throughout the whole area. As plants use water, it is replaced by that held in the mat, so a uniform supply is available for use.
Aquamat shrinks slightly when dry, expanding again when wet giving constant performance. Roots are not damaged when moving pots as they only need to touch the surface of Aquamat to obtain all the water they need.
Easily cleaned and sterilised by steam cleaning and will not react to proprietary brands of algicides. The materials used in the production of Aquamat are non phyto-toxic. Aquamat is easily cleaned and reversible giving more than one season’s service.

How to use it:
Simply place the matting at the bottom of a garden tray. Place your plant pots or seed trays on top. Water the matting until it is thoroughly soaked. The plants will take up water through the drainage holes in the bottom of the pots as they need it. Water is supplied to the plant constantly even on gentle sloping or uneven benching.
