πŸ“ How Much Do I Need?

One roll covers 50 linear metres at 1m height. Here are some common project examples to help you estimate:

  • Small garden project or flower bed (20m perimeter): 1 roll β€” plenty to spare
  • Construction site boundary (50m perimeter): 1 roll
  • Large site or event perimeter (100m): 2 rolls
  • Field or paddock boundary (200m): 4 rolls

Tip: Position fencing pins every 2–2.5m for a taut, secure fence. For animal containment, use U-pin anchors to secure the bottom edge to the ground.

Also available in 25m rolls and 15m mini rolls β€” ideal for smaller jobs or keeping a spare on site.

βœ… Ideal For

  • Construction site safety and boundary marking
  • Garden and allotment protection
  • Event crowd control and lane marking
  • Chicken runs and poultry enclosures
  • Dog and pet boundaries
  • Sports event lane marking
  • Windbreaks for dust and snow
  • Supporting home insulation during installation

πŸ”§ Installation Guide

  1. Plan your boundary β€” measure the total perimeter length you need to fence off.
  2. Insert fencing pins β€” push metal or plastic pins into the ground every 2–2.5m along your boundary line. This spacing keeps the mesh taut and secure.
  3. Anchor the start β€” stand the roll upright and fix one end to the first pin using the mesh itself or a cable tie.
  4. Unroll along the line β€” walk the roll along your boundary, looping the mesh over each pin as you go.
  5. Secure the bottom edge β€” for animal containment or windy conditions, use U-pin anchors to peg the bottom of the mesh to the ground every 1–2m.
  6. Overlap joins β€” if joining two rolls, overlap by at least 0.5m and tie together with cable ties for a continuous barrier.

The green colour blends naturally into garden and outdoor environments, making this mesh far less visually intrusive than orange alternatives.

⚠️ Please Note

This is a temporary fencing solution designed for short-to-medium term use. For permanent boundaries or high-security applications, a rigid fencing system is recommended. Fencing pins are sold separately β€” see our range of metal shepherds crook pins and plastic stakes.
