Fruit & Cage Protection Netting Mesh

Our standard Fruit & Cage netting is a very cost-effective and lightweight plastic netting, used to protect newly planted vegetables and crops from predators such as birds and butterflies. It can be used to cover plants in fruit cages, over frames or over bamboo canes and can be stretched to fit most shapes.

Fruit cage mesh will keep out most birds and pigeons and will deter mice, rabbits and squirrels. Light weight netting is particularly important to use with fresh fruit trees and soft fruits such as strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, black currents, blackberries etc. to prevent damage. It can also be used for stoned fruit trees like plums and cherry.

Fruit and cage netting is UV stabilised, strong and durable so can be used year after year. Rot Proof and Chemical Resistant. Fruit & Cage Protection Netting is a range of PP meshes which have all been manufactured in a special way. After extrusion, the mesh is stretched in both directions to give an extremely high tensile strength to weight ratio.
