Standard Grass Reinforcement Mesh

Our Grass Reinforcement Mesh 450gsm is a tough, flexible and long-lasting solution for strengthening grassed areas that are regularly used by vehicles or pedestrians. Once established, the mesh helps protect the ground from rutting, wear and becoming muddy, while retaining the natural appearance of a grass surface.

Manufactured from durable, UV-stabilised HDPE, the mesh is laid directly over the prepared grass surface and securely fixed in position. As the grass grows through the 25mm x 25mm openings, the roots and grass gradually intertwine with the mesh to create a strong, reinforced surface.

Ideal for areas where you want to maintain the appearance and drainage benefits of natural grass while providing additional ground reinforcement. Suitable applications include overflow and grass car parks, verges, pedestrian areas, wheelchair access routes, golf buggy paths and light aircraft taxiways.

Important: For best results, the grass must be allowed sufficient time to grow through and establish within the mesh before the area is opened to regular vehicle or pedestrian traffic. This is essential to create a strong, stable and safe reinforced surface.
